To Mildura

Tonight I finally arrived in Mildura and staying with my good friend Angela. Angela who i worked with 30 years ago at Jobskin! Together we helped set up the factory with the mad Nun!

After a freezing start I packed up and left and tried to check out the local op shop, but lo and behold…..only open tomorrow. Looks like a gorgeous sunny day in that picture. (Steve, how do i turn the picture around? )

After that it was pretty much 110 kpm up the Calder all the way after that. Lots of road trains going in the opposite direction, and an interesting display of old rusty trucks in someones front garden

Next stop was Wycheproof, which is a nice old character filled town. The town where the train tracks go down the middle of the main road, not sure how much use this train track gets. Its pretty overgrown except all the signage and bells are still there as if its running.

First place i saw as i drove into town was another op shop where i found myself a hat and scarf. Stupidly, as i am wont to do, there was a rack of $1 coats and gloves, but do you think i got myself a coat…..no. I’m not even sure why not….too big, too small, too daggy? I don’t know. $1!!

Hey I am having soooo much trouble inserting photos, that I’m going to leave it til i see
