Sunday

Well i think I’ve found the Worlds Best op shop/recycling centre. Fiona, Jasmine Raynor and I all went to The Green Shed here in Canberra. Theres no hard waste here so instead everyone takes their stuff to this place, a tip of sorts.(but none of the smelly stuff) You can pay to get rid of your stuff or donate it to the recycle shed. Its a massive shed FILLED with stuff, so much stuff. Out the front are about 6 huge trolleys filled with clothes, all free! Fossick through and help yourself!

Inside is everything else with fantastic prices. I should have looked for a thermos, but forgot. Outside, at the back, is more stuff, furniture, toys, building stuff, rabbit hutches, a couple of cars, even a boat. I forgot my phone, so no photos unfortunatly. If you go to Canberra, definatly worth a look.

I found myself this cool & groovy Splendour in the Grass teeshirt!..Ben, you’ll be jealous! And some more good quality free clothes!

There needs to be something like that in Melbourne. Our hard waste is just left out in the rain, collected and then compacted.

Jane, remember someone told us about the Coldstream Recycling Centre.? I’m wondering if thats similiar. We should definatly check that out.

We also checked out the Jamison Trash & Treasure Market, lots of stuff plus fruit & vegies. I finally bought a the avocados and oranges i wanted.

Went back and washed our ‘new’ clothes, went for a walk with the kids! How I’ve forgotten what kids can be likeon

I have to give Steve’s Wood Fired Pizza a mention to. Very famous round here!
