Wodonga & home

Jugiong is a really quaint little town a few kms off the Hume, which I accidentally found because it was time for a cuppa. Free camping on the oval. Worth remembering for next time. Theres a gorgeous place calledThe Long Track Pantry which sells local food and arts & crafts. The Murrumbidgee also runs through this place. I also stopped at Holbrook, theres not much there but I found a sort of op shop ‘Lady Gales Book Shop & Curios’. Mainly a book shop,& lots of them, but all around and in front the books were lots of china and crockery bits & pieces. Its in the main street and worth a look.

The Hume now bypasses Albury and Wodonga, so I got off at Wodonga and found a caravan park to stay in. I’m having a non powered site because I realised I only had power to keep my phone alive before I go to bed….and now I have the ipad which stays alive for days! I’m using it to read and listen to audio since it doesn’t have internet. I’ve been put down the end of the park, I feel with the down and outers! The showers are way up the other end too and theres only three and two are out of order. There may be a rush on it tomorrow morning!

So tonight is the last time I set up my tent and this’ll be my last post. I expect to be home tomorrow sometime. I wonder what state the house will be in? ? I’ve really enjoyed this trip. Its been good to catch up with so many people. I now have a list of what I need for next time, comfortable mattress on the top of that list!I’ve clocked up about 4000km and gathered a few more items from various op shops and people! Maybe tomorrow before I go I’ll fit a couple more in in Wodonga, see how time goes!
